Some flying hands will encounter the situation that the aircraft prompts “power saturation” when carrying out the work task, which can lead to the bombing machine when it is serious. So why is there power saturation and how to avoid and solve it?

This article will give you a detailed introduction to the "power saturation".

First, the reasons for the power saturation of the plant protection drone

1) When flying at high altitudes, the air is thin, resulting in insufficient power when the blades rotate;

2) The motor ESC fails during the operation and cannot provide normal working status;

3) If there is foreign matter attached to the blade or the blade is damaged, the motor load will suddenly increase;

4) Sudden encounters of strong winds during flight operations, plant protection drones need to occupy a part of the power to maintain the flight attitude.

Second, plant protection drones appear to avoid the saturation of power

1) Use a qualified, functional power battery;

2) Before taking off, the state of the motor, ESC and blade must be checked;

3) To develop the habit of cleaning and maintaining the power system, the battery and the blade surface must be kept clean;

4) Do not forcibly fly operations under weather conditions such as high winds, heavy fog, or rain;

5) Avoid planting drones that are “sick” when the power is saturated.

Third, the emergence of power saturation solutions

1) When flying in high altitude areas, it is recommended to use special blades suitable for plateau operation, and try to maintain a gentle posture as far as possible;

2) Wipe the attached foreign matter on the motor and the blade, and restart the plant protection drone after the power is turned off;

3) In case of bad weather, immediately stop the plant protection drone;

4) If the ESC is found to be abnormal, the ESC connection must be carefully checked to eliminate the cause of the connection or replace the ESC;

5) Connect the parameters and adjust the bandwidth appropriately.

Power Cord

A power cord, line cord, or mains cable is an electrical cable that temporarily connects an appliance to the mains electricity supply via a wall socket or extension cord. The terms are generally used for cables using a power plug to connect to a single-phase alternating current power source at the local line voltage-(generally 100 to 240 volts, depending on the location). The terms power cable, mains lead, flex or kettle lead are also used. A lamp cord (also known as a zip cord) is a light-weight, ungrounded, single-insulated two-wire cord used for small loads such as a table or floor lamp.
