The LED green energy-saving street lamps used in the lighting project not only make up for the defects of the traditional high-pressure sodium lamps, but also have the advantages of power saving and long service life. On average, each LED lamp can illuminate 50,000 hours. The person in charge of the Beibei District Municipal Bureau of Chongqing said that the upgrade and renovation of urban street lamps will save about 20 million yuan in electricity and management and maintenance costs each year.
