1 Introduction Embedded Web Server (EWS) refers to embedding a Web server into a field test and control device. With the support of the corresponding hardware platform and software system, the traditional test and control device is transformed into a TCP. /IP is the underlying communication protocol, and Web technology is the core Internet-based network test and control device. The embedded Web server simplifies the system structure of the traditional server, and it realizes the functions of information transmission and network interface on the embedded device. The embedded Web server operates on the HTTP protocol and has standard interface forms and communication protocols. It provides a unified browser-based operation and control interface to any legitimate user accessing the network it is on. The openness and platform independence of Web technology can reduce the development difficulty, reduce the design and maintenance workload of software systems and communication systems, and improve the management level of field test and control equipment. 2. Embedded WEB server overall design There are many access methods for accessing the Internet: telephone dial-up access, ISDN, ADSL, Ethernet access, etc. Among them, Ethernet, as a cheap and efficient Internet access method, has been widely used. Internet access uses Ethernet. The TCP/IP protocol stack is embedded in the single-chip microcomputer, and the network control chip is used to realize the Internet access and data transmission of the single chip microcomputer. Many functions can be realized by using a network microcontroller (a single-chip embedded with a TCP/IP protocol stack), and an embedded Web server is one of them. Through the web server, the client browser can browse the dynamic information of these devices, and can also realize the interaction function with the system. (1) The general structure of the embedded Web server The design of the embedded Web server is usually based on the general Web server system structure and optimized according to the characteristics of the embedded system. The embedded Web server hardware system includes a microprocessor or microcontroller system for Web communication functions, which can be directly integrated with the front-end application system or connected to the application system via the fieldbus. A complete hardware system consists of a microprocessor, FLASH memory, DRAM memory, network interface, and front-end application system hardware. The micro processor is responsible for the global operation and management. The FLASH memory is used to store the system kernel of the real-time operating system, the TCP/IP protocol stack, and various Web documents; the DRAM memory is used when the system is running; the network interface is connected to the Internet; The hardware of the application system performs the application function in the traditional sense. Due to the limited hardware resources of the embedded system, the hardware structure of the embedded Web server can not be very complicated. The system kernel of the real-time operating system, the TCP/IP protocol stack, and various Web documents must be stored in the FLASH. This puts forward the design of the software system. Higher requirements. The hardware structure of the embedded Web server application system is shown in Figure 1.
