China and Denmark cooperate to launch wind power research

The "Wind Power Kingdom" Danish and Chinese scientific research institutions recently signed an agreement in Hangzhou to jointly develop key wind turbine technology research. It is reported that this is the first time that the two countries have cooperated in opening up national laboratories in the field of wind power.

According to reports, the two partners are the State Key Laboratory of Wind Power System established by the National Laboratory for Renewable Energy (Ris?) and Zhejiang Yunda Wind Power Co., Ltd. of the Danish University of Science and Technology. Ye Hang, Chief Engineer of Yunda Wind Power, introduced that the project lasted for about two years with a total investment of 35 million yuan.

“This is a new model of cooperation that is different from the 'one-way input' of Denmark,” said Komment, a representative of the Danish side and a creative cooperation consultant of the Royal Danish Consulate-General in Shanghai. China is one of the countries with the highest growth rate of wind energy. With strong potential for wind energy exploration, it is currently growing rapidly on some monomer technologies.

Denmark, which is located in Northern Europe, has been committed to building a country that is free from oil dependence, with clean energy and renewable energy as its main “lifeline”, and has many years of experience and leading technologies in the field of wind power.

The state key laboratory of wind power generation system established by Zhejiang Yunda Wind Power Co., Ltd. is the first batch of state key laboratories approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology in China and is also the first national key laboratory in Zhejiang Province to rely on enterprise construction.
