TI Introduces Industry's First 24V Sinusoidal Sensorless Brushless DC Motor Driver

Texas Instruments (TI) today announced the industry's first 24V sinusoidal sensorless brushless DC (BLDC) motor driver. The DRV10983 features a configurable 3A driver with integrated control logic to help customers achieve reliable startup and optimum performance with fast tuning motors. The 180V sinusoidal sensorless technology of the DRV10983 reduces noise by up to 75% compared to competing solutions, meeting the needs of cooling fans, ceiling fans, blowers and small appliances.
