In the night, breaking the silence is not only awkward. A building decorated with lights reveals the other side of it in the night. It is a shopping mall with changing lights, a modest and elegant office building, and a warm and romantic clubhouse. The waterfront of Lido is close to the Ba River, creating a quiet and fast-paced city life.

Background of the project

The Lido Waterfront High-end Residential Project was developed by Beijing Pacific City Real Estate Development Co., Ltd., with a total construction area of nearly 350,000 square meters. The first phase of the residential building is 72,000 square meters, including three themed residences. The second phase is a high-end foreign-related apartment, Phase III, and four. The period is under planning.

In the unfinished stage of the construction, the owner hired Lai Tingdi as the lighting design consultant to make a general plan for lighting effects for the buildings and landscapes in the community.

Building facade lighting design

The owner hired Langdon Wilson from the United States, and Sanlei Architects and Hong Kong Guan Shanming formed the construction team. After contacting the design team, they had an in-depth understanding of the overall concept of the house. Lighting design reflects the connotation of architecture through lighting. The project is designed according to the principles of neoclassicalism, with classical design elements as the background, using modern craft materials to interpret, combined with the bright and elegant architectural style of modern architecture, reflecting the simplicity, exquisiteness and elegance of the building. The overall design is natural, and the curved design on the top of the building echoes the dam.

Residential building lighting is different from office building lighting. Mainly in the overall brightness, not only to reflect the characteristics of residential buildings, but also does not affect the normal life of the owner, to ensure privacy, to make the owner feel safe, harmonious and comfortable
