Developer Visible Body first introduced an application for Human Anatomy Atlas on the Mac, which is an encyclopedia version of the anatomy reference material for medical students.

The application contains 3400 high-quality 3D models that can be scaled, rotated, and annotated with respect to position, morphology, function, and physiological structure.

Now, with the update of iOS 11, the AR version of Human Anatomy Atlas is about to land on Apple devices. Using ARKit's motion tracking function, students can use the virtual model on the iPhone or iPad to spy on the human body structure.

"AR has fundamentally changed the way we learn and teach anatomy. The most intuitive change is to interact with it and make the user experience more attractive and valuable. Interactive 3D lets your finger gently on the screen Once you move, you can move this entire manikin to the room.It helps to bridge the gap between anatomy research and human physical reality. We are pleased to be part of the tool that transforms AR technology into the next generation of education. ."

-- Andrew Bowditch, CEO and co-founder of Visible Body

The current price of this app on the Apple Store is temporarily reduced to 0.99 USD. Visible Body plans to incorporate AR into its full set of learning apps.
