Battery life extender

A 0V charge capacitor and an efficiency greater than 80% can extend battery life or allow the battery to be used at lower terminal voltages, which will cause the generated voltage to be higher or lower than the battery voltage. When used in a capacitor discharge ignition system, the power conversion efficiency is so high that the heat sink is unnecessary and only one power transistor is required.
