Foreword
In order to strengthen the standardization management and guidance of the promotion and application of CAD technology in China, the Industrial Division of the State Science and Technology Commission and the Standardization Department of the State Bureau of Technical Supervision issued the guidance document "General Technical Specification for CAD" during the Eighth Five-Year Plan period.
At the beginning of the Ninth Five-Year Plan, the State Bureau of Technical Supervision decided to develop corresponding national standards based on the guidance documents of the "General Technical Specifications for CAD". Through expert argumentation, it is decided that the name of the standard still uses the name of the guidance document. The main content of the standard is based on the original Code, but the content of the technical description is deleted. The standard preparation should be in accordance with the principles stipulated in GB/T1.1, and there are some changes in the technical content than the original guidance documents.
This standard specifies the scope of standardization and standards that should be adopted for CAD software development, technical applications, and conformance testing. Therefore, the main content of this standard is divided into three parts:
CAD software development;
CAD technology application;
CAD conformance testing.
There are overlaps in the standards that should be implemented in these three areas, but the standard consumers have different perspectives on the standards. For example, if the company cares about whether the CAD software can conform to the national technical drawing standards, the developer must meet the standard requirements in every technical detail. Therefore, there may be standards that are repeated in different parts of this standard, and the focus of their application will be explained in the application notes for each part.
Due to the particularity of this standard, a large number of national and international standards related to CAD are listed in the content. These standards can be found in the National Standards Institute of the National Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision.
This standard modifies the CAD standard system in the original guidance document in Appendix A of this standard. Appendix A, B, and C of this standard are appendices to the tips.
